To have portraits of your loved ones can deepen your connection with them. Empowering portraits of yourself and your loved ones can enhance your self image.
Your portrait can be anything you want.
You can come as you are or take on whatever role you want, To see ourselves we sometimes need to take on a role. It can be empowering and liberating to see ourselves from other angles than normally. Portraits can be created in many different ways. Styling, emotion, lightning and story elements all play their role and come together to create the final artwork.
When it comes to styling it can be as simple as dressing up in your evening attire or we can create a styling that fits what ever vision you have in mind. The end result and what kind of impact you want your portrait to have is what matters. It is always a collaboration between the sitter and me, the photographer.
It is all about the perception and emotional impact.

Let everybody in the family show their own personality. We can create family and group images with your own twist and let everybody shine. At the same time we can create indiviual images of each member to accompany the group image.
Environmental Portraits.
The surrounding matters. Make the environment part of the story without distracting from the main character. In the studio I prefer to use my hand painted canvas backdrops since they bring in more character. Outside that extra dimension can be brought in by the environment.
Make objects, big or small, that are important to you a part of the picture. I can also create images of these objects separately if you like.
Your pets are part of the family
We often have strong emotional bonds to our pets so why not make them part of the family portrait session. You can have portraits together with your pet and we can create individual portraits of your pets separately. Since animals can be unpredictable these sessions needs to be planned with the animal in mind to minimise stress. Pet portraits can also be done in an environment.
Your pets are equally welcome to have a photo session with me.
Art prints for the wall or album
The images we create together are way too valuable to only be hidden away as digital files on a hard disk or a cloud storage somewhere. They are artwork that deserves to be displayed on a wall or in an album. In this way they will last for generations and can make a daily impact on your life.
The images we create have a tendency to grow in emotional value in time. The art of the print makes the image more tangible.
I take pride in the prints that I make myself up to the size of A3+ To accompany and enhance the print as well as giving it an extra layer of protection all prints are delivered in a hand cut passepartout to the dimensions of your liking. It also makes it ready for framing. It is also possible to get images delivered ready framed.
